In the hallway outside the church library is a board for members to posts questions about our capital and building campaigns. Here are just a few of the questions posted over the last few weeks:

Q: What specific repairs or upgrades are being included with this renovation project? Will the school building / gymnasium have its roof and HVAC systems repaired or replaced, which are long overdue?

A: Yes, the school gymnasium roof repairs and the HVAC systems are slated for replacement (not repair) in the current building program plans.

Q: Please update the women’s restroom in the church!  Thank you.

A: That’s the plan!

Q: The infant play area needs new / updated play equipment.

A: The playground area is not included in the church building committee’s scope at this time.  However the school is working on a complete refit of the outside playground area.  Some work has already been completed.

Q: Where did Jesus on the donkey go?  And what will be done with the pink granite stand if there is no Jesus?

A: The sculpture is being refurbished and will be returned when completed.

Q: Will we have pew cushions?

A: Pews have not yet been selected, but we do want comfortable ones.  We will keep you posted as the process continues.
