From the Pastor
Sent to Preach
Jesus was sent to preach the good news (Luke 4:43). Though master of the Word, Jesus is also a servant of the Word for the sake of those who hear it. The Father sent Him to His people to proclaim the good news of salvation in Him. Notice they are unable to acclaim Lord and Son of God. Who does? Shamefully, only the demons can name Him the Son of God. How depraved the humans are who are unable to name Him what He is! Yet, still He preaches to them, that somehow He might save some. He will not be delayed in His mission. He will not become our pet to be kept like the Genie in a bottle. He must go on and proclaim the Word to the world, because in it there is salvation.
