Houston Marathon- Possible Traffic Delays
For anyone planning on attending our Sunday services, please be aware of traffic delays that could occur due to the Houston Marathon the morning of 20 January. This may cause some inconvenience for those approaching MLC especially using Chimney Rock from north of the church, from the Memorial/Post Oak/Galleria areas or Inner Loop east of the church, or from the West University area.

From the Vicar
Where Is the Bridegroom?
At times, the Church looks like a widow. Where is her bridegroom? Has he come and gone? Why does He allow her to suffer? Contrary to the way things appear, the bridegroom, Christ Jesus, has come. He went to the cross in order to give His bride life from His side. Leaving behind his mother (John 19:26), He becomes one flesh with His bride. By rising from the dead, He promises to never leave her side. You are a member of His bride, the Church, through Holy Baptism. As a member of Christ's bride, Christ proclaims to you that the gates of death, the power of Satan, and this age of darkness will not prevail against you, for you are one flesh with Him.
