From the Pastor
When the Spirit of Truth Comes
"When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth."
St. John 16:13
Sunday marks the Feast of Pentecost, the culmination of Easter and the proclamation of the work of the Holy Spirit. This time of the year is full of culminations: graduations and confirmations. They are endings which lead to new beginnings. It is good for us to be reminded that God does not leave his church alone, either spiritual or in earthly things. Although there are plenty of "ends" in our lives, we are his new creation that he never ceases to care for.  He gives us the Spirit, through the Word and the Sacraments, that we might be strengthened with the truth to live our lives in this truth. God bless you this Pentecost tide, as we hear the Truth proclaimed for the life of the Church and the world.
