Seeing is Not Necessarily Believing
"If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead." These words of Abraham to the rich man in Luke 16 are directed toward the Pharisees, because they are seeing the fulfillment of many years of prophecy happen before their eyes, and yet, they don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and still won't after they see him rise again. And yet, we, didn't see this first hand, but believe that Christ is the Savior anyway. In Jesus' words, "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe."
